Sports Performance Coach
Team Strength & Conditioning Consultant

Coach Jay is a graduate of the Fitness and Health Promotions Program (2006) at Humber College and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified Nutrition Coach. In his pursuit to continually grow his knowledge, Coach Jay has taken numerous continuing education seminars, courses, and visited many top strength and conditioning facilities, collegiate programs and professional teams. 

Coach Jay has been in the sports performance field for fifteen years, ten of which at the university/college level. He has also served as a member of Canada Basketball's Junior (U18/19) or Cadet (U16/17) National Team's strength & conditioning staff since 2014 as well as spending 3 years as part of the Junior Academy (Gr. 7/8) Program. Coach Jay also served as a Strength Coach within Hockey Canada's National Women's Program from 2010-2014.

In addition to working with teams and athletes locally, Coach Jay is also serving as a Strength and Conditioning Consultant with the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers' Men's Basketball Team.


He lives in Kitchener, Ontario with his partner Katie and their German Shepherd "Griz".
